the currency of redundancy

Kangaroos lounging

at the reflecting pool

on mounds of minty mint tea,

in deluge

splenetic

just flood flood flow.

It’s a miracle we haven’t drowned with all this

water in the air.

While they just

briefly wave by,

Clouds are waves of the sky.

I see everything in their

shapeless form,

even you.

When mollusks moving

water and fire

start spinning bubbles

too out of control,

that even their pearls

begin to fizzle between

the whirlpools of loud sound,

the need to be

sipping minty mint tea

is necessary to cleanse the

salty currency

of these many, many redundancies.
